Error when trying to load maps.

This is the message I get everytime I try to load one of the custom maps. Any ideas?

the map is protected and may not be opened.
not all maps are protected, but many will be.
Map protection is so other users rather than the original creator may not "infect" their hard work with STD's (Stupid terrible doohickey)
