the idea is not bad, but I think it would be nice if you woulddo some more changes to the model.

I recommend you to look at thes tutorials:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/f282/making-effects-magos-35101/
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/f282/making-effects-magos-advanced-techniques-59348/

and here are some examples of what you can do only with magos model editor and oinkerwinker´s tools:
Ancient Explosion SFX - The Hive Workshop - A Warcraft III Modding Site
Fel Orc Felhound Rider - The Hive Workshop - A Warcraft III Modding Site

as you can see there are a lot of possibilities to create awesome stuff with those "simple" tools for wc3.

High five! I use magos to. That's the only tool I use. I have been using it for quite some time now and I have learned a lot. I recently discovered how to wrap textures in magos, something I did in my latest model (Pumpkin Phantom, all but skinn is made in magos). I did it on the vines on his head and back (mesh comes from entagling roots model). So there is more you can do in magos. If you ever need any help or tips then feel free to send me a PM.
