This is what you call humbleness. This is what all people across Earth should follow.

Now, now, the key to a happy life is, just this - thankfulness. Being humble. Being thankful and being humble is what gets you happiness in life. Self-pity is something we, as humanity, should avoid.

When i started reading through the comments, there was this "TV" guy or something, that said "20 grands are nothing per month". 20 grands (20000 dollars) is 10000 euro. And that's enough to feed 600 families for a week in Somalia (or any other really poor 3rd world country in the world).

Pharaoh_, did you see this on TV and then google it or something? Because this guy is born in Austria, but lives in Serbia (I think), and since you and me are from Serbia... well, you get my point.

Some friend uploaded it on facebook.
I am Greek, not Serbian :p

I agree with you guys, this video is one of those that give you strength; a great medicine for the depressed people.

Amazing man. My friend read his book and loved it, I meant to borrow it but never got time. He definitely is one of the most incredible people I've ever heard of.

He was born in Brisbane, Australia

What i find really sorry in this story is the fact that a lot of people say that they cried.

Like, "*CRIES*" is a really good comment. I hate it. I am not heartless, but i have seen 10 times sadder things. I really have.
You see, you should not cry about this. You should smile. You should cry when you see something spoiled (As in, a human being). This is beautiful. Those "cry" comments make renders reading the comments for something interesting impossible. Who the hell cares if you cried? It's not like you're a better person if you say you cried. I didn't cry at this, but i did cry at other things. What, am i a bad person because i didn't cry on this? And saying "Whoever didn't cry at this has no heart" is just stupid. This shows the lack of intelligence.

They could be tears of joy...?

Utterly depressing, to be fair, because this shows how much worse life can get. Yes, he's happy, but let's face it, he never had arms nor legs, he's not in a position to evaluate whether they're needed or not, nor is he in any position to evaluate what anyone needs. His experience applies only to him. I wish people with obvious bodily flaws would stop talking about how it's possible to live like they do, implying nothing can stop you if you want to achieve something, because the fact remains that you still have that bodily flaw, you just pretend to ignore it.

Most likely not, most of them are pitiful tears. It would be kind of nice if they were, since this video does show that a human being can be strong (beyond belief).

I, to say at least, think that mentally handicapped people have it way worse. Having no limbs and no legs is not as bad as having mental problems.
A healthy brain is the biggest gift. An unhealthy one is the cruelest punishment.

This man is a symbol to people that, even in rough times, you must stay strong. He does not say being handicapped is good, he just says that it could be worse. Being happy with yourselves is the best thing to be. Also, being humble is another thing - who is not humble, and whom complains about their situation, is not good. You can be humble. You should be humble. You must be humble.

Though, he did not have arms and legs. He never had them, thus he doesn't know what boon limbs are. Just imagining me, as an artist, not being able to use my hands anymore, let alone imagining having no limbs at all is... just impossible. Just as it is impossible for us to imagine a life being blind or deaf.

Though, it's us, the people with limbs and healthy eyes and ears, that think so. If i was to lose my arms now, i'd fall in some serious depression. Most likely never really going over it. I am sure most of us here would feel like this. I do feel like this person deserves so much respect for what he's going through - Believe me, being a limbless kid is a bad thing to be, since the other children will harass you for this. Kids, in general, have no reason when it comes to things that haunt you your whole life. And kids sometimes can be ruthless to a degree that you'd might find impossible to reach.

His attitude also pretty much depends on who he is, if he would've been any different or offcourse the environment he grew up in (which shapes a lot of your personality) then he may not have thought about all this in the way he does now.

Btw... how the fuck does that guy swim? XD

I am a huble guy, always been happy, even when I lost my right eye because of a horrible accident, there is always one lesson, LIFE GOES ON! That's what the guy is saying; don't think of the things you can't do, think of the things you can do or at least, try it!

I know I don't have depth perception, but I still play soccer, hockey and rugby with much joy, ok, I suck at it, but I have fun. Watching this made me smile, because the guy continues to live and live life at it's fullest. I respect the guy for showing spirit and strength, although there are so many people thinking they lead a better life than him, but he doesn't care, he is happy for them, because he is awesome, tiny, but awesome!
