[Miscellanous / Other] Elemental Damage Effects

Lets say u have a map where u add effects to elemental damages what would that be?

U have 5 elements: Air,Fire,Water,Ice, Earth.

Air has fastes missle but lower damage while earth got slow missle but better damage.

I like the idea where the water magic is diferent then ice.
The water mages hates ice mages!!!


Posible effects??? needs to be diferent

Air-Parlize? mana drain like in skyrim?
Fire-Burn overtime
Water- reduce armour like in dota? )i dont see how water can kill your armour.
Ice- slow, froze?
Earth-slow, stun?(stone cursed)

sounds cool: heres some ideas:
Air : Surge(long range, fast damage missile)
Haste(increase movespeed and attackspeed)
Force(pushes enemies away)
Rush(sends you in a direction, damages enemies in way)
Cyclone(launches enemies in air)

Fire: Fireball(average range, average speed, damage over time after impact)
Wall (casted on area, anyone who walks in takes damage)
Pyroblast(long cast time, extreme damage)
Burn Armor(enemies take bonus damage)

Water: Spray (damage in line, channeled)
Gush (reduces physical armor)
Drain (cast on water surface to regain energy)
Conjure (summons a water elemental)

Ice: Blast (low damage, freezes enemies in place)
Artic wind (slows enemes around the mage, passive)
Cold snap (like in DotA)
Frostbolt(normal attacks freeze enemies in place)
Shatter(double damage on frozen enemies)

Earth: Crush(very slow missile, high damage, normal range)
Rolling stone(rolls in a line, gains power and momentum while rolling)
Rock Armor(increases armor)
Pillar(rises from below ground, deals damage, then forms a barrier)

Maybe the spells need to be bought, chosen at first or class specific. Maybe other elements should be added (Light,Arcane,Darkness,Lightning,Nature,Psionic)
Is the game going to be like a battle arena? where you have to get kills? or is the main goal like killing a large tower?
