You have attached an actor representing the marine model to your unit data?

Everything graphic in SC2 is controled by actors. If a unit does not have a model then it is clear that you have not set up an actor to be created when the unit is.

To do this you need to modify the actor events of an actor so that it gets created and attached when the unit is. If you want your unit to look like a marine, you can even use the same actor as the marine and link it to both the normal marine and your unit (yes you can attach the same unit actor to many units via events). Just be aware that the actor has to be of a certain class inorder for it to represent a unit (the other actor classes have other purposes).
