Duplicating a WC3 model

Hey all,
I wanted to ask if there's a simple way to duplicate one of WC3's official models and change the name so I could say for example, reskin them without affecting any of the other official models in-game.

All responses appreciated.

Simple, just change the model name as you said (preferably the internal name too) and use MDX Pather to change the texture paths to whatever you'd like. Do that and you're done.
