Dummies spells {can units cast custom-made spells?}

I don`t have any problem, but I just want to know one thing. When I add spell to dummy and order him to e.g. impale (the spell is impale too) is he casting this spell but with the effect of impale? How is it working?

well if i understood you correctly ( hope i did )

I think what you want to know is that there is no "custom" spell forms that you can create on your own ( except changing the scripts)

So your example "impale" creations is based on the crypt lords impale skill that is the base spell interface

So the effect will only work if the interface is correct for example.

You cant cast impale with a flame strike interface hope this ansvers your question

Hmm I think I know now. So dummy will use the ability i gave him?

My tip to you is that you download a spell from this forum and see how it works.
Look in the triggers, did the maker add an ability to the dummy?
Did he make a custom ability? etc.

yeah lets say u gave the dummy a spell based on impale and u use the Impale interface ( issue target with no point , something like that ) then Undead Cryptlord impale ) then he will cast the effect of impale
