This is almost a really good model. There are two issues with it:
First, there is not enough team color.
Second, it really needs a tail.

The tail is more important than might appear at first glance. The current in-game archer has a big team color cloak. This performs two very important functions:
1. It helps you easily identify which player it belongs to.
2. It gives the model a unique silhouette that lets it stand out from other units of the same size.

By removing the cloak, it no longer looks like the elven archer, but it loses the benefit of both functions. Adding a longish tail could address #2 and possibly #1, depending on how it's implemented.

I will reserve my rating to see if the model is adjusted before approval.

Please fix the following issues:
  • Geoset animations should only reference one and only one geoset. Anything else might make the model buggy in-game or look weird.
  • Lots of unused tracks and animation sequences that need to be removed and optimized.
  • Some unused materials and textures.
  • Floating geometry like the quiver and wrongly assigned vertices like the loin cloth.
  • Holes in the geometry
  • Bad UV wrapping, espcially on the hair and bow.
