hmmm...

depends on your hero, and your enemies too...

you should always think whats good for you, then see if its also good against your enemy...

for someone like razor, I love the mjolnir + skadi combo no matter who the enemy is...

now for troll warlord, I would give him vladimir since I'm using his melee form mostly during mid to late game... then I decide depending on the situation if I'd go for satanic or mjolnir... basically if the enemies can still hit me hard while I'm attacking, I'd go for sat, but if vladimirs is already fine at keeping me alive I go for mjolnir for the attack speed + the chain and fork lightnings...

No, Hands of maiden does not grant extra healing , but I wanna try if dagon does make extra heal, never tried but when I would , I will also post it here.
And I also think that "pros can be with any hero" since each and any hero has advantage and disadvantage, if u play a lot and know that getting specific item that counter another hero, you will allways win the game , good example is the super cheap 200 gold cost wand of charge = that gets charge when enemy cast a spell = on spellbreaker = you make the spell and go into fog , enemy hit with spell an enemy creep lose hp mana cooldown of a spell and you obtain +1 charge of +15 mana/hp
