Doodad animation speed

I've been trying to set the animation speed of a doodad such as a Lighting Bolt/Trap Fire under the Cinematic's tab of the layer Doodad for a damage effect, however, the Animation section of Action triggers do not seem to have what I am looking for. What I'm trying to do is to set the animation speed of the Doodad but the Action trigger is only limited towards playing it's animation.

Is there any way to set animation speed or will I have to make a Dummy unit with the desired model and Locust ability?

theres no way to set animation speed for doodads lol, but you could set the animation to all trap fire to an animation and keep it there, until changed.

  • Events
  • Map initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
  • Animation - Play the stand animation for all doodads of type Trap Fire within (Playable map area)
or you can make them play the death animation too

i dunno about the speed of doodads, but i hope this helps
