Does anyone use Blender for modeling?

hi,

i made the mesh with animations and exported them via md2 exporter. The problem is that the mdl/mdx file (after import into magos model editor) is huge [7 MB or bigger].

I found out that the exporter creates a new bone for every single vertic of the model.

Thats my problem

Did you rig (make the bones) your mesh/model before you exported it?

When I converted my mesh from .3ds to .mdx I had one single bone in war3 model editor thats weird cause I didnt make any bones...

It is senseless to create animation via bones in blender because the .3ds format cannot save bone informations.

I'm now using 3ds max 2010 with NeoDex to animate the models (but i have to find out how to add team color with neoDex)
