Does AI footman automatically use Defend

Because as I tested footman doesnt. I mean not melee map scenario, without AI editor working.
So this is why I made a script to force footman use Defend, but concerned a bit about would footman use it through my script.

Yes, as long as you don’t add ability levels to it, it will cast on its own.
