Do you think ranged vs ranged futuristic world war maps a good idea?

When I mean by this, should I make a map where humans have to deal with ranged units too?

You might know World War Z, where the zombies don't focus in ranged units.

Therefore the humans in the game have a feeling that they are defending a fort against zombies...

But, what if the zombies were ranged? Do you still think theres a feeling that they are defending a fort?

Don't really know, but why not try it for yourself? There where archers on both sides in the medieval times when castels were under siege, so I guess there is no real awnser, some people may still have that feeling, some may not.

Lets see fast firing units
Hard dying units
Able to create Many units
Able to start a BIG battle for short

That would be good

Constant => More units battling = more fun
