Hey,
Do I have to import models for each map in my campaign, or is there a way I can do it once so the model will be available for all my maps of that campaign...

there is a way, but i don't know if that works with imported stuff, try check the custom campaign included in warcraft III exp, that usaly helps^^

Open the campaign editor. There will be an normal importer, but for all the campaign.

in the part where the map are stored, there is a gathered import for all the maps as far as i remember
