Hello all,

I've got a problem concerning an ability.
So I wanted to create a new ability that casts instantly on self. I thought, well divine shield would be good as a base ability.
I copied it and started working on my skill... But then, testing it it would give me invulnerability everytime I activate the skill. (And all my triggered stuff) But I don't want this. I tried a lot to get rid of this effect but it still occurs.
Also on another skill there's a stun (from the base ability) but I dont want it to have one. How can I get rid of them??

thx
E.

edit: yes I removed all the buffs...

Removing the buffs doesn't actually work, it will still display them in game. Buffs can only be changed.

Instead of removing the buffs on War Stomp, why not just set the available targets to "None". This way you still cast the spell but there is no possibility of any units being stunned.

Nope, didn't work. My hero is still invulnerable...
I tried setting the targets to none, but it didn't help...

I'm talking about if you're using the "War Stomp" ability, not Divine Shield.

I was assuming you meant the ability "War Stomp" since it is an immediate no-target cast spell that stuns an area around the caster. There are others too, but War Stomp is the most common. Why do you need to use Divine Shield? What is the aim of your spell?

Ok, when it comes to new abilities, the first thing you might want to think of is the "Channel". It will save you ;)
So, change the Target Type to "None (Instant)", Options = Visible, Follow through time - Around 1.00, Disable Other Abilities - False. You can make as many Channel-based instant abilities as you want, as long as you have the "Base Order Id" changed for each different ability.

Other options:

Roar/ Battle Roar/ Howl of Terror, but these ones require "Targets Allowed" to be ticked only for "None".
