In 3DSmax or magos, how do you make the whole model have that yellowish/goldish transparent dissipate look when it dissipates?

I've already animated the model to fly up into the air, and tryed to experiment with animating texture alpha values in magos, but all I got was ugly results. My model has Teamcolor to.

I tryed to make the blending mode change when it dissipates but it wont let me animate that.

Hope someone can help.:wbored:
