Go to Advance Interface
Then Scroll until you find Sound - Ally Town Under Attack
Change the sound to something hardly noticeable that might go with your environment of your map :D

Sounds a little too hacky of a solution to me.

Can I just put no sound for ally under attack?

EDIT: Are there any sounds that actually don't play anything (this is where a bug / broken sound would be good ^^)?

Sorry but you can only change it to a different sound from there. This is the only way I know as well o_O

I was also wondering...
What type of map are you working on?

I going to type it in a better way for you maybe o_O

When you first enter World Editor go to Advance (little from top left) and hit Game Interface...

After you hit Game Interface check the box at the top left of the window that pops up (the box says Use Custom Game Interface, just to make sure your opening the right thing :D)

After that scroll down into the Sound Categories and find Ally Town Under Attack.
Choose a sound that will not be to noticeable while playing the game!

I hope that this explains it much more clearly for you :D

I understand how to change the sound. I want to know if any of the listed sounds actually don't have any sound (i.e. they are broken).

double posting but attention is attention :D

there is actually a way to potentionally disable it by call SetPlayerAlliance(sourcePlayer, otherPlayer, ALLIANCE_HELP_REQUEST, false) and SetPlayerAlliance(sourcePlayer, otherPlayer, ALLIANCE_HELP_RESPONSE, false)

Try out some combination of the two and check back for the results if you mind doing so :D
