Hello, we all know about the 1st,2nd,3rd dimensions, but lately there are several pictures that are 4th dimension which is supposed to be time.

Now what do you think about the 5th and 6th dimensions (I won't include further, because a search on google ended at the 6th dimension)

What about fractal dimensions? For example the dimension of the Sierpinski triangle is 1.585.

Its impossible to really create a picture or image that would show what a 4th dimensional object would be like, it would be equivalent of trying to show an object is 3 dimensional on a two dimensional plane, you can say "hey there's a background and a 3rd axis" but in reality it is still just a two dimensional shape on a 2 dimensional plane. Same can be said about trying to display a 2 dimensional object on a 1 dimensional plane. We can try to conceive and picture a 4th one all we like, but its ultimately a futile effort, and really the best we can do is ponder the properties of a fourth dimension.

It does not matter what you perceive it as, it is displayed on a 2-dimensional surface (your monitor), you only make a connection with it to at best a 3-dimensional enigmatic object because its what you can make a connection with in your mind living in a 3-dimensional world.

You should understand that dimension is the way we notice any object around us. Our living things do live in 3-dimension so everyone can notice 3-dimension or less dimension object but not higher.
Anyway 4-dimension is not 100% about time. But it is easier to say that it is time as we feel like that in 4-dimension. 4-dimension is another form of our universe which we can't understand. Some one also say 4-dimension is "Inside"-dimension. It can be explain by "general relativity" of Einstein.

That's why we can draw the picture of it but can't understand it.

Can see the picture here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_dimension

Kinda incorrect. We can use various tools to help visualize and understand 4 dimension objects, so meh.

Also, the eye only sees in 2 dimensions, but we can still understand the third. Does this mean that everything in the world is 2 dimensional shapes?

Try reading the book Flatland. It gives some interesting insights on how the 4th dimension would appear to use by comparing how the 3rd dimension would appear to 2 dimensional beings. For example, a 4th dimensional being would be able to perceive every side of a cube along with everything inside it simultaneously, just as we are able to perceive every side of a square drawn on a piece of paper along with anything drawn within it.

Generally when people say 4th dimension, they mean a 4th spatial dimension. Time, however, is not independent of the other 3 dimensions, thus spacetime.

26 dimensions...

Why not 52 or 10? How did they wind up with 26?

///\\o0//\\

I'm guessing that's a good question, but what can be said? It's math. Why is π circa 3.14159265, and not just 3? As for PI, it can be (sort of) calculated - there is an irrelevant problem with new decimals coming every now and then. Don't know about the 26 dimensions, but if they work in calculations, why not just trust the uber-mathematicians? Math can be like religion. But still, mathematical things seem less religious once you know how to prove and applicate them.

The reason why we have 2 eyes, and not the eye, is to see somewhat 3-dimensionally as it allows us to tell depth. Although you could say they are two flat images overlapping each other.

Yep. Watching more of Rob Bryanton's videos might help understanding spacetime. "You Are The Point" particularly.

Because til present, Human can only find 26 dimensions. In the future there might be more and more.

Human is the living things in 3D so we don't understand 4D. There may also have living things in 4D, too. But as I said, we can't interact with 4D so we absolutely see nothing.

The picture of 4D-11D that someone have draw is from the calculation not imagination. However those pictures of 4D will be seen in 3D by Human eyes not the 4D as original ones.

Actually even with one eye closed you can still see depth, just not as precisely. Thus why some animals that have eyes on opposite sides of their head (where their fields of vision do not necessarily cross) can still see depth.
