Hi,
can anything in a custom wc3 map cause delay? In the map i'm editing, player that has the red colour start to have a huge delay. It takes like 30 or more seconds for units to respond to the player's actions, or for chat commands or pausing to work. As far as i've seen that only happens to Red player, or it's just more common with that colour. So does anyone know what could cause it?

Are you playing online? Maybe your friend's connection is slow. Why don't you try to play as red player and see if that happens to you too? :/

Yes, the map is called Broken Alliances and it's pretty popular on RoC, it's being hosted by different bots and happens on all of them. That happened to me, and many other players while they were red.

That's mostly due to the Hosting Bot. Some of them aren't the best and will give players massive delays. No idea why it'd be exclusive to Red though...
If a lot of data was being synchronized from him it could cause it. Additionally things like damage point and trigger sleep action (not sure, the two are often used together) have been known to add latency if abused heavily.
