Hey, how do i make it so when i cast death pact on an allied unit it doesnt have to be undead.

i get this "Must target an undead unit"

do i need a trigger?

thanks

Use dummy a spell (any thing that can target whatever you want), make a trigger
  • <Insert Your trigger name here>
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Dummy spell
    • Actions
      • Unit - Set life of (Casting unit) to ((Life of (Target unit of ability being cast)) + (Life of (Casting unit)))
      • Unit - Kill (Target unit of ability being cast)

No, you cannot do it with a death pact based ability.
What to base it on depends on what you want to do.
You want just to target allies or Allies and enemies or just enemies.
Channel or a buff like inner fire, bloodlust and etc
