'darkness' problem

I was doing some terraining on my map. I wanted to see what it looked like in game but freaked out. When I hit the 'game view' button it all just goes black... (see attachment)

wtf??!

I tested it and it has the same problem in-game.

can this be fixed..?

please help

maybe you just disabled something... or maybe you added a fog?

Heh, looks pretty cool.

But, yeah, looks like black fog.

It certainly does look like an exponential fog (which you should never use, use lineair ).
If it isn't that, then could you please tell us what you changed between when everything was all right and... this.

yep, fog indeed...

was set to exp, changed to linear and everything back to normal!

TIP: if you put doodad in your map, like gates, press "L" to see it light up...

I don't understand why I'm 'pwned'. I know it is the whole map darkness, but if you use appropriate lighting, you can achieve a good outcome. If you want examples, look in the cave regions in Gaias Retaliation. Looks sexy.

Yes I have started, Lightning strike is done, others maybe some other time coz real busy also in life and other things here...
