Darkest Hours of The Guardians (DHoG) is Hero Defense mixed with Castle Defense, where you have to protect the Celestia Crystal Pedestal from being corrupted by Dark Forces and used it to destroying the world--Sanctenla.

-A unique system for skill lover players, A Cast Rate stat which reduce your skills cooldown! this stat can be increased by AGI or from Items.
-Customizable skills set for your hero, but keep in mind that You may not learn skills that belonged to other hero.
-Hits System, this value will increased when you damaging an enemy, increasing your Attack Speed and Cast Rate!
-Auto-Combination Recipe, there's alternative way to combine items by clicking a recipe for Instant Combine! (at cost of little extra gold)
-Killing Spree with seamlessly endless enemy units.
-Wall System, a unit upon wall cannot be attacked by enemy unit unless they also on the wall.
-There're more than just normal units. there'll be a Boss Class elemental every wave and Ram, Catapult and also an elemental name Wyfirm will fly down and dropping some of Elemental upon wall
-A Cannon, there're cannon to use as well, these cannon have capability to eliminate a group of enemy unit, or destroying Ram, Catapult.
-Touching Objective, every wave will have an additional objective that greatly help you to protect the Crystal!
-Money and EXP are sharing, with Gazel and Spirit bonus to those who killing it.

If you have a slow PC you may try command "+lowlag" to reduce total units.

so if you want some comment ... :D

I'played the tauren, the archer and swordsman.

+ a lot of cool (coustom?) abilities
+ short reviving time
+ interesting and rewarding quests
+ clear arranged map (people may play it twice to know all NPC positions)
+ bosses for each wave
+ the guy with the sword rocks ^^

------------

- waves take much too long. players are getting bored after hacking 50 treants
- too many manually operating abilities (only my oppinion - its a question of what individual players prefer)
- The Tauren CAN'T heal himself - although the tooltip says that (50% himself)!
- bad choice of projectile animation for the archers firebolt. ever tried to put a burning rock on a bowstring? that's not atmospheric.
- Your board says that there will come a wave 5 but the game is over after 4th wave - i know you're on to implement more waves but until then you'd fix that.

The Archer(Hero): is quite useless while playing with only a few players (too little mana, single target abilities - maybe it shoud get a standard ability like firing 3 arrows at different targets or something - that would make him usefull even if he uhm "she" is out of mana)

The Mother Earth Guy(Hero): Can't heal himself and the ability with the "critical strike" icon may dont work - dunno, maybe i just didnt get what its for, but the only "advantage" it brought to me was losing HP and doing little damage


But overall this is an amazing map and you really should keep improving! I've spent hours to find a castle defense/survival thingy where players cant be overrun from several directions - those maps are quite boring because they dont give strategic options. unlike your map - it has 3 northern gates a wall that is can be used for archers, a gate that doesnt collapss after tipping it...

very good work :)


EDIT: I've forgot something! :) You should also change the "suggested players" amount to 1-8 (I've made it in single player WITH an intact gate :D (that was pure stress ^^)

I didn't miss a point in the comment from Oklino.
It is a great work so far, keep it up.

TheMother Earth... has his problem with the mentioned skill.

Like he say :change the suggested player to 1-8.
I manage it with the Holy Prayer and a no damage to the main gate.

I'm looking forward for the next version.
Hope it doesn't take too long.
It makes too much fun to wait for too long. :D

but maybe you should think about once more :)
just adding 1-2 different monsters would also help to get some variety!

i have to say it again: the swordmaster/man/or what ever his name was is great ^^

well i tested it a bit in singleplayer and...
i have a few suggestions/improvements...

-maybe skill max lvl 4-5? 3 is kinda boring in case u reach it in the first few waves.

-a bit clearer shop organisation

-the shop dealer called "war priest" with his item "healing dust"(which is needed for that shadow orb from the blacksmith) doesnt exist...i searched the whole map with "iseedeadpeople" and i couldnt find him =O fix that pls

-a few more heroes(maybe 1 more per shrine)

-there were a few typos but they werent really bad(it was all easy to understand IMO)

other than that,this map has really much potential!!
hope to see ore updates soon ;D

The map indeed had a lot of potencial and the shop organisation is pretty clear ; search Nurse and you will find 2 NPCs ,the lower one is the war priest . Btw you spelled Blood Efl instead of Elf .
Great map and I hope we'll see more of your ideas as soon as possible .

It's a priest at front of the fortress, you may also buy it from Sorceress (on the wall). Maybe I should change to Sorceress instead.
About skills. skills level are max at level 3 because I don't see a point about having lot of level for a little different.

Sorry for the grammar and spelling, I'm not Eng, you know. (still improving though, xD. )

maybe u should write a notice about that ingame cause its very confusing IMO

Long enough of no updates, just having a bad time here, busy, stress, blah blah.

Version 0.50 is going to releases soon, with a few check that there'll be no major bugs.

There'll be a lot of changes here, lot of system added, much more here.

I'm retired, DHoG 0.50 yet to be fully done, I might be able to update here...
