It's not a bug FireDemon, it's just because you hit it twice. Since you saw you did it, why don't you just delete your second post?

Awesome model, btw. I think I have some use for it in my ORPG.

Don't take this really seriously but it kinda looks like the eye of Saron off of Lord of the Rings...but yeah don't take me seriously.....

Great model. I want to use it but i don't know if I'll have enought space on my map :?

But really good job!

You always amaze me rightfield....how do you always manage to blow everything in huge size up and not optimise it?

Reminds me o all your chaos structures that had a double layer...

For those guys who wants to make these kinda things its easy: just have an orb mesh (or whatever shape you want) tripple times cloned, each one bigger then previous. Then have outer texture transparent, mid either addalpha or additive and inner either transparent, normal or that third option (cant recall its name, is used for gem translucent effect of ziggu's)

---> this means you can reduce the amount of polys used in those orbs and just slap em with same textures=same effect

Can you or someone else make it please? If you don't want I'll take this one but it has a little too big size.

You could just as easily use the icon for the "Orb of Fire" that's already in Warcraft 3.

HMMM no dont think so i think that the normal orb is just red without glow and this is more black with red glow

I agree that it looks like the thing they find in the swamp that has the project of the Eye of Sauron. Beautiful luster and oily shine, and a nice fire effect

BTW: its called a palantir

Yes and no, it has the luster of it but the flame is all total BS in the movie its just supposed to be a ball but for the movie if you wanted to imitate it for some usage in LotR maps, the fire has to be constantly moving inside, damn movie ruined the whole fucking books... only good thing were the characters but not their lines, not to mention how they didnt get to see tom bombadil anywayz enough of my lotr quibble gj but its more for an rpg map for the poly size i think

HEy I think someone shouls make a skin so that it would look like sauron's eye from lord of the rings...it'll be cool

About the polycount thing... I actually did want to mass these :P for a spell (Meteor Swarm, based on Locust Swarm with miniature...these... But I think I can just use a different explosion graphic)

really great model, would be useful perhaps as sphere of the blood make (insteed of these stupid green balls)
but hell, how did u get so many polys on it, so
4//5

A truely amazing model there. Though, there may not be many "true" The Lord of the Rings fans out there, because that "orb" thing you call is the Palantir, and the movies did not ruin the books, the movies were just too long to have every single part. If you were a true fan, you would have all the books and movies including the Extended Edition like me.

5/5 Great model. I love the high res!!! Don't stop just because people complain, just add a low res alternative for those who don't know how to use BLP Lab. I changed it from 600+ kbs to 43 kbs in my map, hope you don't mind. It's just the chrome3.blp texture that is too large. It also doesn't need to be that big, but hey, it looks great, don't stop what you are doing!!! +rep
