Since I needed an "item" type model for my map and this one had a very clever in-game icon etc., I decided to just use it and add stars and spin it. It works great if you use both models. (The model is renamed "Black Fang" because that's the name I used in my map).
I thought that it would be a shame if I didn't share this so I asked him if I could post it and he said yes.
Credit HIM as the modeller, I just animated it.

Posting to say that I agreed on this.
It's very well done actually (better than I'd have done it to be honest). You could rotate the blade so that it points slightly upwards. I tested and rotated the blade 10 degrees around the X axis and then -30 degrees around the Y axis in magos.
Though I'm not sure cause it looks good like this to.

The handel should be bigger, since it's a dagger, also you could make it more epic

While you're here Thrikodius, I had also thought about using your hammer (the regular one not the fancy one) and if that were the case I'd also make a similar "item version" of it. You don't mind right?

haha i turned it into a missile for my darkness incarnate instead of its of a blade because the small handle makes it ideal for a missile/projectile
