I was wondering how to get -2% damage when killing something like a building. Since the only things I see can change is the value and the % base from 100%. Which it wil make my change my unit's health to the same value all the time.

Uhhh, if you want buildings to take less damage, increase their armor or give buildings the cryptlord's spiked armor skill with 0 return damage.

Actualy it would be better to use that ability, which name I currently cant remember, but it allows to take procent less damage. As far as I recall it is an item ability.

I post the its name when I get home again, and can check in WEU

Ih well, sry I misunderstood you.

Then use this trigger:
  • Events
    • Specific Unit Dies (The unit is the building)
  • Conditions
    • (Add one if needed, lets say that only a unit owned by player red takes dmg)
  • Actions
    • Unit - Cause (Dying unit or Killing unit) to damage (Killing unit), dealing ((Percentage life of (Killing unit)) - 2.00) damage of attack type Normal and damage type Normal
Should do the trick, but dunno if it would work making killing unit damage himself, maybe you could make a unit to do the damage? It is jsut registered as that unit doing damage, it doesnt actualy. But the unit gets the credit for if killing unit dies.

Yeah, I know of that ability too; mountain giants have it.

EDIT: The ability is called "hardened skin".

No not correct, hardened skin protects against an amount of dmg, with a amount of minimum damage the unit should recieve, that isnt the same thing that trigger does, it removes 5 hp from the unit... so that isnt the trigger he looked for, and hardened skin does nearly the opposite of what he wants.

BLOODMAGE, not sure what you mean? You cant find it or did my trigger do what you wanted, and then you just wanted to tell how much you figured out yourself before reading it or..??

If you cant find the trigger do tell, but it does the trick, with % as you wanted.

i think he means, that when a hero(or unit) kills a certain building, the hero/unit will have 2% less damage.

What is this for again?

hmm.. if that was he need, then he could use the descrease dmg ability, wich name I cant remember, but I think it is undead who has it... curse or something.

But if thats it, why then say
ye thats the action I was looking for however I came this far
Unit - Cause (Dying Unit) to dmage (Killing Unit), dealing (Percentage life of (Killing unit)) damage of attack type Normal and damage type Normal
?, seems like he meant what I thought, but well could be.
