Is it possible to change the weather animations?
Example: Instead of snowflakes, have it rain leaves instead?

Thanks!

EDIT: Solution possibly found?
Did some digging through the forums...

supertoinkz says:
you can, just export the Weather.slk from the War3.mpq
then modify it via Microsoft Excel
I'll post full tutorial tomorrow, too busy atm

EDIT: Found BLPs within MPQ.
ReplaceableTextures/Weather
But now what?
Replace the BLPs with whatever textures I want?

I've done this. I used OpenOffice and it wasn't quite that easy (it didn't save the headers the way WC3 wants so I had to tweak the file in a text editor), but it worked for my purpose (creating a custom Sun Rays weather type with more rays).

Open the file in a spreadsheet program; it's pretty straightforward to edit. If having it imported in your map causes WC3 to crash (back up your map before importing!) then you might have to edit the file; post the file and PM me and I might be able to do that fix for you.
