Custom model Sounds not working?

Anyone else noticing that custom model sounds don't work at all anymore? is this just isolated to my experience or others too? any workaround or fix?

I've found that custom voice-acting works, but you'll need to re-add like 6 copies of the death sound because every (or nearly every, havn't checked) unit has way more death sound variants (often ones which don't sound the voice acting of the original unit)

Yeah but more precisely a subset of sound doesn't work. Sound works fine though in classic mode. I filed a bug report on blizzard forum.
