Custom Loading Screen - What's the path and what's with the size?

Okey I want to make the attached file into my map's loading screen. But what's the path? I am by the way not slicing it into 4 parts. I tried to access a tutorial, but it seems that the site is currently down, and the 1 here is for 4 parts.

Also the image is about 1.4 mb, is that a normal size even if it's not high quality?

I know this is the Request section. So, if 1.4 mb isn't the normal size, can someone help me fix it or tell me what to do?
