Hi everyone, I have a problem... Whenever I try to edit the Game Interface in my ORPG, it just goes back to default when I restart WE. Can anyone please help me? Thank you :)

What triggers do you have set up that might cause a conflict? Did you start with a template to make your map?

By default, when changing Interface settings select:

Advanced>Game Interface>

BE SURE to check the box "Use Custom Game Interface." Apply your changes, click "OK" and then save the map.

[off topic] Please make your thread topics specific so that users (and the site's search engine) can find them.

The only thing that I can think that might cause the problem is a trigger conflict. When our best trigger editors weigh in on this issue, you might get a more specific answer.

In the mean time, can you provide everyone with more information? Perhaps show us the triggers that run at map initialization.

If your co-author is wrote the triggers he or she might be best equipped to resolve this difficulty.

I have some personal experience to add to this. For example, i have the Upkeep one that says (0-30Food =...etc.) changed to a blank one but it always returns to previously stated text. I have no conflicting triggers although its not a big deal, ill eventually find a way to fix and and MAYBE it has to be filled(if your leaving them empty)

thats quite strange...
im no expert but
do you and your friend send the map back and forth to get work done?
maybe its a WE compatibility problem between the 2 of you? Have you tried changing the interface of a map that your friend has made?

If its just THAT particular map that has a problem, try deleting all the triggers, or even all the stuff from the map (after backing up ofc). with nothing on it, it should work with nothing possibly interfering....

I doubt its the problem, but just throwing ideas out there =/

Do not bump, I think there is a 48 or longer bumping rule.

This bug is common, the imports get curropted when saving and all data in them is lost and they are known as 0KB.
Make your map like normal and import them manually once you have finished.

Also make sue all files are valid since errors in text and stuff in the constants or the files may cause it to error and not save.
