To explain it clearly, you are asking is how to change a tree model from the WE itself into a custom one. I have just explained it on your terrain thread here but to repeat it:

  • First, find the custom tree you want to use here. Best is also get its path and if there are additionals such as blp get it also.
  • Second, download it and open your WE. Go to Object Editor and find the tree you want its model changed into your custom one.
  • Third, minimize the Object Editor then go to Import Manager and import the mdx file of the tree model you just downloaded and remove the war3mapImported\ into the file. If there is also a blp included, import it also and change it to the path indicated by the txt file that is included in the ZiP file.
  • Fourth, go open Object Editor again, click the model path of the tree you want the model changed and use the path of the mdx file of the custom tree model you imported. Also, if it still didnt appear try setting variations into 1 or making either the Lightweight Model to True or False. By messing up those, it'll make the tree work.

Lastly, test it out and should work!

If you cant still understand it. Just give me your map and tell me what tree you want needs change and what custom tree here you want to use and I'll do the work.
