Hi guys,

(Please don't hit me, I haven't found the answer through Google / Hive's Search function :goblin_cry:)

I've recently gotten into WC3 again and am kind of confused.

There are many versions, including the Reforged versions.

But how's the community focus regarding custom maps?

Is it still mainly classic WC3? And what's the used version then? (currently using 1.30b).
Or have people been migrating to Reforged?

Thanks in advance :)

Me and my bro developed and released a big campaign on 1.31 a year ago and despite some issues, it's rather stable and generally recommended to work for pure SD/pre-reforged stuff. Afaik older versions have some issues and 1.26 was one of more stable ones.

Early Reforged sucks ass. 1.30 and couple newer ones are ill-advised to work on.

...but I currently work on 1.36 in SD and it's pretty pleasant to work on. Some things crash, some things are broken, but in general we encountered rather few critical issues. WE comes with couple neat QoL features, like improved import manager.
