Creating my own Icon - What now?

Well I followed the icon tutorial and made myself several 64x64 icons using Paint. These icons are currently BMP files, and I am not sure what I need to do next. How would I load these icons into my map? Do I need to convert them in some way first? Please help!

lolz nvm this post i figured out what to do. I had to dowload several programs from this site, but im good now, and my icons work ingame :D
