Copyright Question

Hello,
I've a question about copyright, I know that it is forbidden export models from other games and to use them. But what about when I see a nice weapon in another game and i want to make a model of it am I allowed to make screenshots of them and make a model for warcraft or is that also forbidden. I hope anybody can give me reasoned answer to me question.

As long you don't use the screenshot as a texture, then it should be okay.
