Hello ! Merry Christmas :p

I've found your website on google, while searching information about WC3 modeling :)

I'm making a game with Dark Basic Pro, and i'm looking for good models. And i've thought WC3 models are very good, and i'd like to use them in my game. But the problem is ... how to get them ?

I've found some extractor tools and now i've got .md3 models animated. Using Deep Exploration i can convert it to a .x, but it doesn't keep the animation ! :/ Have you ever seen a game with static heroes models ? :P
Or i can export all frames of the animation, but i've got about 50 .x, and i'd like to put them together to have only one file ...

So my questions are:

-Is there a convertor mdx -> x or md3 -> x (whitch keeps animations) ? Or how can i extract a mdx to a x, keeping the animation ?

-Is there a tool that can stick a lot of static models to a animated one ?

Thanks for answers, and sorry for my english ... i'm french ;>_<;

Little snap of Arthas in game, but static ;_;

I've tryed Milkshape too, it imports the model, but the animation doesn't work in milkshape ... But in Deep Exploration it does !

I'm trying Gmax with plugins given in the tools section :p

I thing too DB is the problem ...

It supports .md3, but when i convert the .mdx to .md3,
it doesn't load it T_T
So i try the .x which seems to be the most supported,
but now i have the problems explained in my post :/

The only thing i can do to have the animation is to
load all frames (created by deep exploration) and
hide/show them one by one, but it takes a lot of
memory !

Bu i'm sure i can export an animated .x ...
In deep exploration, i can play the md3's animation,
so the problem is during the exportation to .x (or .3ds).

And my conclusions are that if we can make .mdx
models, there is a way to use it in different formats !

Do someone use DE here :?:
