Copying Vars to other maps???

You don't need to copy them - use the following option:

1) Go to the normal Editor ( Terrain Editor )
2) Click: File and then Preferences.
3) In the new window you click on the tab "General"
4) Mark the option "Automatically create unknown variables while pasting trigger data"

- Now if you copy a trigger with new variables, they will be auto. created.
