CONFUSED

Ok so i've downloaded 2 maps for WC3, and i placed the .w3x files in my 'maps' folder, but when i go to load up a map in custom games nothing happens and the maps i downloaded arent even listed...can anybody help me

Possibilities:

1. Don't forget to extract the files (they're in zip format)

2. The majority of the maps submitted are for the Frozen Throne expansion pack. Make sure you have it if you want to play them.

There's probably more, but this is just basic.

Some of the maps in the archive simply dont work. Yet I know I would be given hell if I removed them. It would be a shameful coincidence if you just happened to download only just those ones. Download a few more and see if the problem is the same.

Why not open these maps in the WE then hit ctrl+f9 perhaps the next time you will see these files in the test folder then move these in the scenario folder.

One more thing, when you hit ctrl+f9 then the warcraft will play but the game will just not download then something is really wrong coz ive experienced this too while testing some DL spells.
