Confused About Skins...

Hey, Im kinda confused...

#1) When I download skins from this site or others I get Blp or Mdx files...From what Ive seen single blp files do nothing...Which pisses me off since I would like to use those skins..

#2) Why can't I download 75% of the skins on this website...are the links broken or is something wrong with my computer...If the links are broken then why have a catagory for insomniac models if all the downloads dont work..

Call me a noob or an idiot w/e I just am confused..

@ nr 2 - The anvil download database is currently down or something I am not quite sure, but I hope it will be fixed sometime soon...
