cannot convert to .blp

why i can't convert my skin from .tga to .blp?
I edit my skin with GIMP and save it as tga file. But when i try open it WC3 Image Extractor II, it say " The file C:\Program File\Warcraft III Editor\model1\HeroUndeadBloodMage\BloodElfDeathMage\BloodElfDeathMage.tga has unsupported compression". so, i can't convert it to .blp.

Please help me

i used warcraft 3 viewer and it converted just fine
