I'm wondering, how is it possible to make the complete coast of an island or continent "land-able" for unloading sea transports? If anyone has played Axis & allies before, that's the type of coasts I'm talking about.
Yes you can first when making the map at the start set the height to 4 and set it to be shallow like so...
Then use the raise tool to get the basic land forms u want...
Once done press "P" to bring up pathing and make sure that all of the land that u want to unload on is blue(means pathable but unbuildable). and there you should be able to unload anywhere...
Some tips if you want the entire map flat try using the plateau tool to flatten out the areas and then use smooth near the coast for that gradient affect...
Aw....****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I found out how to do it, but I'd already done the entire continent of my map (of an actual country), and the whole terrain has been completely finished, aside from rolling coasts....it took me more than 4 hours working on that....is there ANY possible way of converting regular coasts into rolling coasts without re-doing the entire thing...???
