My problem is that this project, while awsome, seems like it won't be complete until sometime in 2016. By then not as many people will care about Wacraft 3 or WoW, or maybe a Warcraft 4 will be out. Another problem is with all campeigns. Whenvever they update, all my save data is deleted. When this project is releasing it's first versions, how will you compinsate for the fact that saves are deleted normally. This might be especially problamatic with updating heros. Old heros will be outdated and unusable.

Lets say we never move to WarSoc - no reason, just for the sake of argument - and Wc3:WoW remains as a single-player campaign. At first, yes, every update Wc3:WoW receives (or at least almost all of them) will cause your characters to not load properly/not load at all, forcing you to start afresh. But once we've gotten a tighter grip over the development of Wc3:WoW (meaning when the mod is mostly bug-free and we have a lot of essential features/systems implemented into the mod) we'll start considering alternative ways of protecting players' saved characters with systems such as Save/Load codes or perhaps think of something else just as effective and safe... we'll see. Right now, the saving of characters is rather pointless since there's not a lot of rewards you can get, its still buggy, and its far from complete.
