With critique from various people, here's a tweaked version.

He's leaning and charging forward, with the main blade in front of his face ready to strike the first thing he comes into contact with. He's leaned a bit to the side because of this, and so his arm is bent a bit backwards to illustrate this, and the fact that he is trying to hold on to his other weapon in the process without it getting in the way.

That story is just an excuse:p The arm in back would be the best arm to strike with at this position, not the arm in front. The arm in front could only be thrust to the side with no wind up at all, making it a very weak attack, at this position it is more of a blocking item.

So let me get this straight, you want me to spend more time on this so I can be working less on WotTH?

: P

Maybe I'll come back to it later, but if the boss and fans say it's good, it stays. Rep for your input though (when I can again).

Yeah, the arm bent back would be best for a first attack, since it would have the most momentum. And then as he strikes with his left arm he would bring up his right and strike down with it (in an oval-like motion) Just a suggestion for some attack anims. It's a really good animation :D

But as I think about it, it could work with the right arm attacking first, since he'd come to a stop and then swipe his right sword from left to right, though it'd be awkward trying to attack with the left arm after that. Anyway you could do it, it's your choice

He will have a shooting spell animation, no worries, the pistol is already made.

Chriz the new run is bad, its bland and lifeless.
The old one was nice if you gave it a tad bit more life.

One hand is a gun right? then it would make sense for him to run with it held to his side while having the cutlass in guard position.
add a bit more bob to the gats and maybe some head movement. make him lively, instead of robotic.

The other hand is some sort of cleaver actually, the gun will be attached to his belt eventually.

I'm still working on the animation, somethings just not right about it, but it's hard to place.

Yes skippy gif.

And yes, three complete animations so far, but the first attack is pretty far.

Really skippy gif, but it's the best I could make. This is an attack so far, still rough, been playing around with it quite a bit.

Attack, again

His coat and feathers now get dragged along as he spins. Along with a few more adjustments.

It got slowed down in the gif making process, in reality it is faster.

It's also based on a Cervantes SC2 attack.

And yes, erwt made the icon.
