chat lag bug

The chat is still bugged.This has been an issue ever since the 'new' chat. My browser keeps freezing up for like 0.5 seconds periodicly. I think every time the chat gets refreshed.
Samuraid told me that the problem is something that the firefox memory gets filled up quickly by the chat and that's why this happens. Well I'm not the techie here so that propably didnt help much . But if you guys know the problem, why not fix it? I'd like to use the chat, but as things stand now, I am not going to use it because it means I couldnt do anything else but look at the chat.

I think some other users like HT lag in the chat.I don't lag though..

No problems for me and I ofc. use IE7.

I use FF and it works flawless for me. Try ad-blocking the snow and see if it cause any lag.
