Chapter 11: The Centaur
The earth goddess was happy with the way the dwarves looked after the mountains and was infact so happy about them that she wanted to create a race that could live in the mountains. She created the centaur for this purpose and eventually this peaceful race ventured out of the mountains and into the forests. They had nothing to do with the elves except they helped them out with studying their surroundings. Since they were not demigods they were free from commands from the gods and could do anything they wished. Unfortunately for them they were not immortal like the elves or the dwarves and only had a lifespan of 235 years, when this age was reached they would disappear off the face of the planet and become one with the mountains.
