Edit: Nevermind this. I tested the model out a bit more, and it simply can't wield a 2 h weapon, the animations doesn't fit for that.

And really, it's "hand" attachment is messed up, so yeah I guess this model can't be used

yea i was thinking the same. i voted for the new one because it have a much better spell animation like you said.
