Changing Model Name

So I wanted to change the name of the model https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/bringerofpain-47980/?prev=search=werewolf&d=list&r=20 because there are 3 models with the same name. But when I did change it in Magos editor, it won't show up. Yes, I restarted the editor, but it still doesn't show up. I changed the name of one of the other ones successfully with Magos editor. Could it have anything to do with the fact that this model has a custom texture?

use a mdlx<> converter and convert it to mdl. open it in notepad, edit the name, convert it to mdx.
