why would you do that ? (example?) if you mean like eg. you cast blizzard and run away, but the spell should finish, you should use a simple trigger which creates a dummy unit which casts the blizzard
As UreDe4D said if you want a channeling spell like blizzard to be non channeling you need dummies.. (if you know dota think of the pitlords rain of fire...)
i think it's easier.
coz in the very top of the abillity page there are strings like channeling, slam, spell. it should be possible to remove the channel just by removing the string channel^^. (I'm not sure this works but u can allways try it^^)
