Change the birth animation

Hi all,

I work on a custom race and made already small model-jobs for this (learning by doing; change attachmentpoints, delete animations, rescale, such things)

Now I want to change the birth animation of my custom race's buildings.

Is there a easy way/small tutorial how to do this?
Is this very hard for a modelling-beginner or easy to handle?

I have the birth animation already, I just want to implement it, not create a complet new one.

The difficulty is moderate, dependent on the method you choose.
It seems the merge feature of Retera's MatrixEater is what you look for.

Try to transfer between animations, still need work though.
