Cheng Du project.

So, me and a friend is making a 3way battle map about Dynasty Warriors. Dont ask me about the gameplay, as I'm too lazy to explain that right now.
Anyways, I'm going to post WIPs of the terrain here so that you might say whats lacking and so on.

ATTENTION: This is Cheng Du, not Chang Ban :p

The hills are too round and that grass that suddenly grows out from the ground does't looks good... The problem with the grass is that it gets taller so abruptly, make it looks that it grew up slowily, with some small grass models around a big one.

Also, it isn't empty for a Dynasty Warriors kind of game...

Also, DYNASTY WARRIORS FTW.

You need seaweed, fallen logs and mushrooms near the rocks of the last screen, that looks painfully empty. Seriously. Also, some sexy details around forests (like clusters of rocks with shrubs, flowers and small mushrooms) will improve the terrain a lot.

Anyway, very good job. :D

lower those rocks!!!!!!!! and its to empty, when you look outside into a forest or somthing, or go for a hike,(assuming there isn snow where you live) do you see only a few blotches of grass in very circular patterns. i hope not o_O

Use lumpy grass instead of SR dark grass. Looks better, especially in this context. I think this needs more shrubs :D
And also some more grassy dirt in the grass areas and then lumpy grass in there.

I actually agree, I like SW better than DW... Its a reason I'm called "Keiji" and not "Sun-Ce" you know ^^ And, yeah, I'll add allot of shrubs ^^

Anyways, I've used this model quite a while longer then you Void, and I know how to use it. It looks odd because of the angle, but while from game view it looks fine.

No, its a three way fight. Simply explained:

- You got the entire map explored.
- There is three teams, and three players on each team.
- You have spawn gates, which can be taken by the enemy.
- The objective is to eliminate alle enemies.

The clue with three teams is that you will always have you watch your back, you cant simply rush one enemy as the third might as well stab you in the back if you do. And so on... Strategy is a key word.

Also, there will most likely be bases that gives bonuses to keep, and so on.
