As you know by now, Chain Lightning deals less damage with each jump, depending on how much you set it.

Would it be possible however, for the spell to be GAINING damage for each target?

For ex.:
Now it deals 100 damage on X1, 50 on X2, 25 on X3

If my idea would work, it would do 100 on X1, 150 on X2, 225 on X3, etc.

Nope, doesn't work, minimum number seems to be 0.

Guess I'd have to trigger it but I've no idea how :)

yeah telling ppl about brush list is good idea. i wish someone had told me before i finally read about it in some random document. world editing is about a gazillion times easier after i learned that. and i didn't know about the shift thing although i did finally recently find out how to do the negative values with that option that was just mentioned.

I used it for more than 1 year with brush list
you may freely repleace "used" with "getting tortured by it"

In main WE windows there is a tab called Windows (like File - Edit etc)
Its there called Brush List
