    Thrall...cuz he's boss....

In all seriousness he is one of the best characters blizzard has ever created, honorable, just. The character development on this guy is one I've been keeping up with since I was but a boy, playing WC III Reign of Chaos.

Needless to say that in Heroes of the Storm, he literally brings the hammer down!! All he needs is the right placement, and management of spells, experience with using his trait, and urr likely to dominate with him. Some are saying he needs a nerf but i've thought about his abilities, they are in no way over powered... He is just a powerful melee hero, usually that entails getting stuck in the middle of the battle if you wanna actually do anything.

Thrall was my favorite, don't get me wrong he is still one of my favorites, but after that nerf he got down in my fav list, now my 1st is Arthas, usually I don't play warrior heroes but Arthas has a good tanking potential and he is so badass.

    My favorites so far are:

    Nova, Murky, Tyrael and Nazeebo.

Nova for me is a true assassin dps. All her gameplay is about planning, positioning and deception. Extremely hard and rewarding when played at high level (people actualy know the 1 million ways to counter you there).

Murky for me is a lot of fun. He's all about annoying people to hell. If you annoy the crap out of your enemies a lot, you'll soon see them waste a lot of time and resources trying to end you, thus leading them to lose the game. Too bad they nerfed poor old murky last patch :(.

Tyrael is a very good warrior with a basic set of skills that allow interesting gameplay. In my own opinion, He's the best initiator in the current meta.

Nazeebo is just too much boom. I love the zombie wall play and his style. You can either go full pusher build or full assassin build. Which is nice for an specially.

There are many awesome heroes but my heart goes out to Nova. I really enjoy sneaking around with her and the fact that she has several fun and different ways to be played. Plus, I've read "Ghost:Nova" and ever since I finished that book she's been among my favorite characters in games, I just I like the style of the book ^_^

well, since I started to play at most one week ago I don't have so many heroes, yet. Atm I'm playing Valla, as its just plain right-click power ^^ and ETC, controlling people is just so much fun :p and jumping across the map to secure objectives/fights also seems pretty good to me. Also got my hands on Malfurion just have to get levels with him.

For me, Tyrande, She and the Prietess of the Moon were (and are still) my favorite hero from WC3, even if she got a underwhelming health in her Q, I like her W, E and R.

Thrall, seriously, this guy is OP, I like him! :D

I seriously thinking in getting the goblin guy his abilities are interesting.

Nova - I dont realy like her as a character, but the HotS hero is my fav so far...
    - She has amazing burst. If someone squishy from the enemy team is low on hp ( ~65%) you can do him in one combo. If build correctly, she can 100 to 0 even tanks in about 2-3 seconds.
-The enemy team has to guess where you are as long as they do not see you or your "shadow".Great for flanking, ganking, roaming, etc.
    - Both heroic's are perfect for teamfights.
With Triple Tap you flank them and wait for your team to get someone low and get the reset, or just do someone with your combo and finish with Tripple Tap. Bad thing is that tanks and buildings can block it, but if you flank properly you have no prob. Did I mention that if you get the lvl 20 upgrade it resets on kill ?
With Precision Strike the enemy team can not afford to group up as they will eat a TON of damage almost instantly. Great AoE. Most people say that this is the better one, but I find greater success with Triple Tap
-Holo Decoy - Guess which is the real one. Can be used for scouting, disturbing, stopping someone from taking objective, just to scare the shit out of someone, body blocking. Did I mention Double Fake ? And Lethal Decoy.

Nazeebo - I have ~80& Win ratio with him :|
-Can get very tanky if you get Death Ritual and "farm" a lot.
-Zombie Wall - Allows for great outplays. This tank who has no gap closer, splitting the enemy team, saving an ally an many more, just find the right moment, hold to it until the enemy team is disorganised or get too "brave".
    -Poison - Here goes invisibility...
-Has tons of damage - If he is not the hero with the most damage in the game, something has went really wrong.

    Zeratul
    -Zeratul <3
-The enemy team has to guess where you are as long as they do not see you or your "shadow".Great for flanking, ganking, roaming, etc.
    -Both heroic's are great.
Shadow Assaul is really a great gap closer, very hard to escape if you do not have long-range dash or blink -like ability. "I am in your face and I am going to stay there" A con is that it can be used only offensively, once your team is behind it becomes nearly useless.
Void Prison allows great outplays, both defensive and offensive. If you flank the enemy team and land it only on the back line, like 2-3 heroes, the rest are kinda screwed. Landing it on the front line without taking out your team is even more devastating, although very hard to achieve.
-Blink + Wall = "Catch me if you can" or "Surprise rape"

    Sg.Hammer
    -Siege Tank <3
    -Great range
    -Great damage
-Upgraded rocket heroic can be devastating by lining nicely on a lane
-Napalm is a bit better as it can be spammed

    Tassadar
-Great outplays. I have killed even carries who got carried away (No pun intended) with chasing me.

    Raynor ( Hyperion <3 ), Tychus, Valla
    - Ranged carries, strike hard and from afar

Edit//Note - this was not intended to be that long :|

I like tyrael cause of it's appearance, and I can't wait for more diablo heroes. And starcraft heroes fit in nice. My opinion is that war heroes fit less into game than any others. But maybe they implemented warcraft heroes first for that reason, and also because of dota etc. To gain more players. For me it's kinda logical. So they keep game interesting later.

Warcraft heroes should not be under estimated. Gazlowe for example, he can demolish forts in seconds unless someone stops him as his turrets can tank the fire while he hits them for 300-500 damage a hit thanks to his ultimate.

Anubarak can end up surprisingly beefy and hard to down. Although a bit lacking in damage he makes a great assistant for downing other heroes thanks to having two stun moves.

ETC is a major crowd player, stuns combined with speed make escaping from him difficult.

Malfurion might start out weak, however late game he has the potential to become a healing or DPS machine. Casting lunar blast every second or less results in some pretty serious damage and totally obliterates all lane stuff other than heroes.

Li Li might not be the most, gifted... hero however her survivability is probably unmatched by any other hero and her fantastic healing can really help push.

Arthras is fantastic pusher with some great stuns and slow. An assassin can really down heroes when teamed with him.

Jaina might struggle to solo heroes 1 on 1 alone, but she should not be under estimated. Her slows mean that escape is as good as impossible if a hero is caught at reduced health. She also has good area damage skills which obliterate lane mobs. In a team push hero high area damage really shines as it can deal thousands of damage in seconds.

Thrall might not seem much at first, but his skills make for pretty mean combos. Once he has his Sunder ultimate enemy heroes will really have to watch out as its huge range makes escaping not really an option.

Illidan is a soloing machine which few heroes can resist or escape. He also is reasonably effective against lane mobs thanks to his ability spam (as he has no mana and low CDs). His only weakness is in team battles where his low health makes surviving difficult. That said if you get a Demon Form transformation on the entire team you are already several thousand damage up on them so even if you do die shortly after you will have helped.

Damn I've been playing Lost vikings intensely lately. They are very rewarding if you are fan of RTS. Feels like playing Sc2 in a moba.

I mostly play Azmodan. The Q damage ramps up really quickly, the E damage is already insane, and Azmodan has a ton of pushing power.

    Mine... Muradin!
Storm bolt refunds 45 mana on hit and can hit 2 targets. (refunds 50% more mana than used)
Thunder clap heals and resets cooldown the more targets are near.
    Avatar as heroic ability.
Either Rewind + Heavy Impact or Hardened Shield + Stoneform.
    Watch people rage quit.

Havent played a lot heroes though... but he is my favorite so far.

Only if it hits heroes? If they line themselves up for you they really must not be playing well.

Why would they rage quit against a class that is a brick but can hardly dish out damage? If they are focusing him down before the soft Assassins or Specialists in a team battle they are doing something wrong.

If it hits units, it refunds the mana as wel.
Just because he has 4 stuns, 2 leaps, mega heal with 0 cooldown (if inside a minion wave), tanky as hell and has very good mana and hp regen... should be enough.

Ive had 2 times that people just rage quit because of how strong I was.
Killing the opponents 1v4 and then jumping over a wall and escaping without problems is just too fun to do.

Tassadar - the shield is just great, and auto-crits from storm can really increase damage (I'm not sure if it gives crits to team mates, but if it does, it's even more op). Also he has escape and very good ulties. One of the best heroes IMO, and really hard to kill. The only problem are silences and stuns - when malfurion uses ulti tassadar is dead :D.

Muradin cannot do that. At the rate of 2k dps you would only last a few seconds, during which time you will likely barely scratch a hero. Might as well give them a free hero kill

Sounds like you had a massive level advantage on the enemies. All heroes can solo multiple heroes in such a case. Muradin damage is otherwise too pathetic to act as anything other than a meat shield.

Everyone can do that if you are ahead far enough.

But yea his damage is pretty low.
But he will win almost any 1v1 if noone runs :D

Too bad Jaina and Nova can kite you all day. Also Valla can probably out heal you depending on build.
